He Is Always With You

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 23:4 ESV.

Are you lonely today? Loneliness is an epidemic in the world. However, unlike the people living in the fallen world, you have something that they don’t. There is someone who is there with you, always, until the end of the age. Whether you are at work with your colleagues or at home by yourself in the dim silence, there he is, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.

There is nothing he cannot do. Jesus has conquered death and banished Satan; thus, he can vanquish the darkness covering you. All you have to do is go to him. So go! Seek him who holds the key to every dark shackle that is holding you down. He can unlock those chains and dispel the darkness that is consuming your mind. Ask your loving older brother, Jesus Christ, for help, and he will provide. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. Pray, and he will be there.

But, even during those times when you are too weak to pray, too tired to think, know that Jesus is still there, sustaining your life and soul. Even when you’re wandering through the valley of shadow and death, he is there to lead you through the bleak wasteland, protecting you, guarding you, the mighty warrior who is always by your side, fending off every demon and warding off every evil spirit that would endanger your life. The Lord will never let them murder any of his precious sheep. Nobody can snatch them out of his hand.
